How it all began

While walking their dogs in St. George’s one day, two of our founding members began discussing ideas to enhance the old town. They kept coming back to the notion that the character of the town was ideally suited to support a community of artists.

They soon discovered that there were, indeed, numerous talented artists in the area who were excited at the prospect of opening a cooperative gallery and it all came together quickly. The gallery, after opening its doors in early 2019, has become a popular venue for finding locally made art.

Manned with love by the artists, and with the help of a few special ‘friends of the artists’, Dragon’s Lair continues to evolve and attract attention as a wonderful addition to the town of St. George’s!
